It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. ~Charles Dickens

It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want – oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain

And Spring arose on the garden fair,
Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere;
And each flower and herb on Earth’s dark breast
rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.
~Percy Bysshe Shelley, “The Sensitive Plant”

  1. Wow I really love the photo you have here.. This looks definitely perfect and very inspiring.. Thanks for sharing the thoughts here..

  2. Very nice commentary…and very nice photo. Happy spring to you!

    Re your question on the license plate: this is Florida’s response to the “Pro-Life” people … it is an anti-abortion plate. What bugs me is that this is a religious position promoted by the Catholics and christianist fundies.
